Yikes. I did only give myself three passes for yarn until October right? Ouch. I should have said ten.
I used my second purchase just over a week ago at WEBS when we went to see the Yarn Harlot speak.
I got five hanks of Cascade 220 that match some buttons I picked up at Rhinebeck to make this:

I also got a ball of navy and a ball of pink sock yarn to make these mittens:

I think I’ll use the pink as the main color and the blue for the flowers.
So two purchases down, one to go.
You picked a perfect yarn to splurge on and great patterns to use it on – have fun!
I was thinking navy with pink flowers–but I think it will look good with pink with navy flowers–cool!
I love those mittens! I wish 2 color patterns weren’t so scary for me!
Love, love, love the sweater. Are you making it in the same color? The mittens are really cute too.
I *LOVE* that sweater it will be stunning when you finish it!
And the mittens ALMOST make me wish for winter again!
That’s my favorite style of sweater lately. Yours is going to be gorgeous!
Sounds like you were pretty thoughtful about your two purchase! Just one left…you can do it! You may want to stop reading blogs for awhile…hehehe, but you can do it!
I love the sweater. It suits you. Drop the pass thing, but give yourself a week to think about something before you buy it. Then you’ll avoid impulse buying and have time to weigh the pros and cons. Will that work for you? Anyway, you deserve it.
